I'm ALISHA

My name is Alisha, and I am so stinking excited that you're here!! I love hanging out with my husband, Brandon. We've been married since 12-4-10 (best.day.ever). We have three little girls, Cadence Joyce, Dakota Rose and Emerson Jean, who are our biggest blessings in life. And since having my baby girls, I've come to realize how important it is to capture images of your sweet bundle of joy early on because they are never that tiny ever again! They go from newborn to baby in just a month's time.

I started this business in the fall of 2011 when I photographed three weddings that year. Those first few weddings were right after my own

wedding, and that’s when I fell in love with weddings.

I love getting to know my AFC Brides and help make their wedding dreams a reality through film. You deserve to have your day documented, and your day is all about celebrating the start of a new family and a beautiful marriage of two souls. It's an honor to play a part in such a significant day and I hope you'll choose us to be a part of yours!

When I’m not busy editing photos, you’ll find me spending time with three girls, ignoring the laundry that’s piling up and enjoying the coveted date nights with Brandon.

WHEN I'm  NOT PHOTOGRAPHING
WEDDINGS or families, YOU’LL FIND ME

Believe it or not, I have a BA in Horticulture from Texas A&M, and I love picking tomatoes and peppers in the spring. I have a recipe passed down from my grandmother that I love to use to can jalapenos and pickles.

SNUGGLES FROM MY

girls

When I'm not photographing weddings or portraits sessions, you'll find me spending all my time with my girls. My girls truly are my biggest blessings. And after having my three girls in the past 5 years I know how fast they grow up. I've learned to cherish every day I get with them. Especially those unexpected and out-of-the-blue snuggles. They are my WHY!

Hand written notes - Other than being "cool" like Jimmy Fallon and his awesome thank you notes, I really do love hand written notes! Hand written notes can really brighten someones day. They just have that affect on people, and I love that it truly shows you care about the person.

CHEERING ON MY

aggies

Brandon and I are both Aggies (Whoop!!), and we graduated from Texas A&M a year a part. We love having a few friends and family over on Saturday mornings to watch some Aggie football, and relive our years at A&M. But, no matter how stressful Aggie football gets or how many heart attacks we might have during the season, you will never find the kind of loyalty Aggies have anywhere else! What's better than high doses of stress with 102,733 of your closest friends??

QUALITY TIME WITH

brandon

Between the hustle and bustle of life with three girls, work, family, friends, clients, and things that fight for my attention I strive to always set a side time with just Brandon and I. Quality time is my love language, and it's in this time where we rest, reset and recharge to get ready to take on life together as a team.

MORNINGS WITH A CUP OF

hot coffee

I sometimes think coffee should be my love language. Fresh, hot coffee in the morning gets me ready to take on the day, or at least the first hour getting my girls up and ready to for school in the morning.

What we Do

THE HEART BEHIND

After photographing more than 150 weddings and portrait sessions over the past few years, I've come to value the unexpected, intimate moments that take place on a wedding day.

The hug your mom gives you before you leave your dressing room. The tear that falls down his cheek when he sees you walking down the aisle. The way the two of you lean your heads together during the toasts.

This day is about more than the flowers and the dress you chose. It's about celebrating the start of a new family and a beautiful marriage of two souls. It's an honor to play a part in such a significant day and I hope you'll choose us to be a part of yours!
